Seminary

Step 1

Work with school counselors to make sure your student has “Released Time” for one of the class periods on their school schedule (this will be their seminary class period).

Step 2

Complete the “Seminary Registration Agreement,” by which parents or guardians legally agree to allow Seminaries and Institutes of Religion (S&I) to track their child’s seminary progress using the seminary enrollment system (WISE). This step includes verifying your student’s graduation year (pay close attention and choose from the hyphenated options)and indicating the location where your student will attend seminary.

The agreement only needs to be completed ONE TIME to cover all years of seminary for each student but verifying the graduation year and seminary location should be done annually. The agreement is best completed by logging into myseminary.ChurchofJesusChrist.org with your Church Account username and password. To create a Church Account if you do not already have one, go to account.ChurchofJesusChrist.org. As needed, a copy of the Seminary Registration Agreement can also be printed, completed, and returned to
